Is there a trial version available?

Yes. You can register and download the trial version. You can run up to 25 virtual users and trial will be active for 10 days.

What is meant by virtual user?

A software process that mimics a real browser session. This process can send requests to server in the same sequence as an end user would do and can receive response from server. Multiple vusers can run on the same machine.

What is load testing?

Hit the server with an expected number of virtual users, for a relatively longer period of time. This expected user count is based on the total customer base and total online users count.

What is stress testing?

Hit the server with an unexepected number of virtua users, overload the system in a relatively shorter span of time. This is like flash flood and can choke systems and may even crash.

What is volume testing?

Run virtual users to transact with an application that handles giga bytes or even terabytes of data. Data volume on disk as well as over the network can significantly slow the systems down.

What is endurance testing?

Test a system with concurrent users for days or even weeks, without giving any downtime to the apps. This makes the apps to run without rest for days.

What are the licensing policies for FloodGates?

FloodGates is available for product customers and service customers. The product can be procured on a perpetual license basis or rental basis for days, weeks, months, and annual.

Can I use FloodGates for consulting to other companies?

Yes. You need to purchase the license of service customers.

What are the dependent softwares that FloodGates needs?

FloodGates uses Microsoft DotNet Runtime and Postgres SQL database.
